P.T. Academy is the division of Oasis Personal Training dedicated to developing   fitness awareness in kids that are in grades Kindergarten up to the fifth grade.  With childhood obesity on the rise in America it is important that we reach our children early in their lives about the importance of exercise.  Obesity among U.S. children has tripled in the past 25 years.  Nearly one out of three American children ages 6 to 19, or 17.4 million, is overweight.  More than half of them, or 9 million, are obese, or dangerously overweight. 

 

We will come to your school a turn your students on to fitness.  We bring an exciting show that includes audience participation, great music and a lot of fun…

The purpose of our fitness shows is to teach young kids the value of exercise and fitness.  We demonstrate that there are several different ways other than organize sports to get in shape and stay fit training.  Children don’t have to jump, throw, catch, or play a team sport to be physically active.  Our demonstrations include kick boxing, karate, hip-hop dancing, stretching, and Boy Wonder who serves as great example of just how healthy you can be and how great your body can look when you exercise regularly.

 

PT Academy will give the children an opportunity to take information home to their parents and sign up for a four week after school program.  The after school sessions can be set up in different formats.  The sessions can be one discipline all week or a different discipline everyday for four days per week.  For example each grade levels can have a Karate week or they can have Karate Monday, dance Tuesday, field training day Wednesday and General fitness on Thursday.

The after school program is $50.00 per child for 4 one and a half hour sessions

 

Not only dose our program promote good health and fitness it give your school a chance to increase it revenue.  Twenty percent of every dollar paid to PT Academy is return to the school.

 

 

 

The Fitness Heroes are the characters demonstrate the four forms of fitness that your child may not have considered. 

 

CAPTAIN FITNESS

 

Warm up information and knowledge

The Captain Fitness will get the crowd going with some stretching and breathing exercises and high energy aerobic routine.  He will also interact with the kids by asking challenging fitness questions that encourage for crowd response and give interesting fitness facts with segments of DID YOU KNOW.

 

DANCE

 

Movin Groovin Asha

Asha is a performance dancer and personal trainer that will teach the kids moves and put them together in a fun routine.  The move will delight both girls and boys.

The high energy and fun that Asha creates will motivate your students to stay active.

 

KARATE

 

The Kick Fit Karate Kid

The Kick Fit Kid will perform a Kata.  A Kata is a simulation of a battle of one mans battle against enemies five.  The Kata is performed in the traditional Shotokan karate style.  Members from the audience will be brought up to learn moves and boards made of balsa wood

 

GENERAL EXERCISE

 

Wonder Boy The Strong Man

Wonder Boy is a personal trainer at Oasis that is in exceptional shape. The Wonder boy will show up in his cape and entertain the crowd with high level fitness exercises.  A child will be asked out of the audience to stand on his back while he dose 50 push ups while the crowd counts along.
